We are a small shop. Your order is more important to us than a large shop where you are just another work order on the shop foreman's schedule. Most of the time you will be dealing one on one with the owner. The same person you work with during the design and pricing phase will actually be producing your order. Having this continuity from start to finish reduces errors and improves quality/ Since we are a small shop we have low overhead, no showroom and almost no advertising or administrative cost—we can produce high-end custom millwork at a price point that surprises most people.

In the end, the best reason to choose First Water is the fact that we believe in order to compete in today's market we have to offer something big shops don’t and that is giving the customer exactly what they want at a reasonable price—not a small list of options or slight variations of design, or even a catalog of ridiculously over priced add-on decorative parts that attach like Mr. Potato Head.

What we offer the opportunity to design your own piece from the ground up and choose any material or finish you’d like. If you want us to pull out the catalog of add-on parts we can do that too. Just remember it's not truly custom if someone is limiting your choices.
